Pets for U.S. Vets ~ Our Mission:
To get
as many pets as possible adopted out of the Washington Area Humane Society at no
charge to our local Veterans. Thanks for visiting this site to catch up on the
news surrounding 84 Fitness Center's "Pets for U.S. Vets" mission. This year's
3rd Annual "Furry Fall Festival" (a social event for dogs and their people) is
on Oct. 6, 2012 and will be in the 84 ball fields next to 84 Lumber Co. Scroll
to the beginning of this blog if you would like to understand how and why this
program was started. To view pictures from our previous dog parties, just click
on our facebook badge. Bethel Park TV has stepped up to help us. Please take a
few moments and view our TV shows. I'm working all year to gather more groups
and people to support our cause. Watch as the WAHS shows off the animals that
need adopted. Contact me, Suzi Smith, at dogparty84@aol.com with any questions.
Because of 84 Fitness Center's and manager Lynn Osborn's continued support in
this program, Veterans no longer pay adoption fees at the Washington Area Humane
Society.

(and their people)
84 Fitness Center's 3rd Annual Furry Fall Festival ~
Pets for U.S. Vets is on Saturday, October 6, 2012. It will be held once again in the pavilion/ball field area behind the 84 Lumber offices at the corner of Rt. 136 and Rt. 519. I'll keep updating this entry as more people sign on. Please plan to attend and have a great day with people and animals. All of the proceeds go into our Veterans Fund that allows our local veterans to adopt dogs and cats at the WAHS at no charge. It is a wonderful deal for both the veterans and the animals. All of the pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and socialized. Thanks for being a part of the solution!
To register early, email me at dogparty84@aol.com and I'll send you the pdf brochure that includes a vendor form, a T-Shirt sponsor form and a participant form. If you want a T-Shirt, please try to register by Sept.21 (International Day of Peace) You may also pick up brochures at 84 Fitness Center and Petco of Wasington (beside Wal-Mart) and of course, the Washington Area Humane Society (see Kelly) As soon as I figure out how to put the pdf into this post, I'll have it here for you to download...
