The Claysville American Legion Riders, Post 639, are sponsoring a bike, car and truck run to benefit 84 Fitness Center's Pets for U.S. Vets program at the Washington Area Humane Society.
It's on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. The ride starts at the American Legion Post 639 in Claysville. Registration is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and the Fox leaves at 11:01. Please plan on joining them. They are raising money ahead of time to contribute to the DogParty on Oct. 6. You can always email me at
dogparty84@aol.com or contact the Legion. It's a wonderful thing that our local veterans are doing to support this initiative. Let's keep this program moving along so we can give back to our veterans and help our shelter dogs and cats find their forever homes.
